Sponsored by Pointe-Claire Plaza and the Electronic Recycling Association, Computers For Cancer is a day to recycle your old electronic equipment securely, and at the same time, raise funds for the Montreal Children’s Hospital during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.

The Children’s needs 40 “smart” intravenous infusion pumps (cost: $5,000 each). There are times when a child with cancer may need up to 3 pumps for delivery of medications, pain relief anaesthetics and hydration. Information: IV PUMPS PROPOSAL. If you would like to help us raise funds for 40 intravenous infusion pumps, please consider making an online donation via the Montreal Children’s Hospital secure web site, where tax receipts are provided for all donations, regardless of amount. We will be collecting manual donations, and tax receipts will be provided for all donations of $25 and over.

The Electronic Recycling Association is a group which collects electronic equipment, securely deletes personal information, refurbishes the equipment and donates it to charities across Canada, including the Sian Bradwell Fund For Children With Cancer.

Your Information Is Removed Safely and Securely

During the recycling process, the E.R.A. data security team ensures your data is wiped from your device before it’s refurbished and donated to charities across Canada.
