SB-WEST ISLAND LAKERS ALL-STAR WEEKEND
Showcasing the skills of talented young basketball players
Since the first Sian Bradwell-West Island Lakers All-Star Weekend in 2001 (started by Mike Gaudin then led by Nancy Tallman and Terry Skindilias, and now by Samantha Sinnott), the WILBA Executive Committee and volunteers host a fun weekend of basketball to support young cancer patients being treated at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. Past events have featured Shoot For Sian, KnockOut, 3-on-3 or East-West All Star games starring the talented young Lakers players. The Weekend concludes with a Celebrity game featuring professional athletes and media celebrities. For details on the latest event, see www.wilba.net
The total of funds raised thus far is $247,973.86
Our heartiest thanks and congratulations go to all organisers, volunteers, parents, basketball players and sponsors!
