LOYOLA WARRIORS – 1973  (Loyola College – Montreal, QC)

In 1973, the Loyola Warriors capped a 50-game winning streak by winning the CIAU National Championship — the first team from Quebec to win a national title in any sport.  The team won accolades from Prime Minister Pierre Elliott Trudeau and Quebec Premier Robert Bourassa, and were invited to the Montreal City Hall to sign the mayor’s Golden Book.
